Leeds based, specialist conveyancing firm, enact, is celebrating their most recent fundraising success for children’s cancer charity Candlelighters. Having voted for Candlelighters as their nominated charity in 2017 they raised a massive £26,607.
Colleagues organised a series of events including quizzes, dress down days, sale of Candlelighters merchandise and various sponsored events. Over half of the employees took on the huge physical challenge of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.
The company were recognised for their achievements by winning Company of the Year in the annual Candlelighters Awards in September.
Brian Curran, Candlelighters Corporate Fundraiser, said,” This partnership was a pleasure to be part of. The money raised will help us support local children with cancer and their families. We would love to recruit more corporate supporters who are as committed to support us.”
