We’re pleased to announce that the MND Association has been chosen as Enact’s Charity of the Year, following a vote by colleagues across the business.
This is a cause with a particularly personal connection for many of us at Enact. In 2025, we sadly lost our colleague John Murphy to motor neurone disease (MND). John was a much-valued member of the Enact team and is greatly missed by those who knew and worked with him.
Supporting the MND Association gives us an opportunity to come together in John’s memory, while raising funds and awareness to help people living with MND and those closest to them.
About the MND Association
The MND Association works to improve care and support for people living with or affected by MND. It also funds and promotes vital research and campaigns to ensure the needs and voices of people affected by the disease are recognised.
By choosing the MND Association as our Charity of the Year, we hope to make a meaningful contribution to this important work and support the charity in its efforts to improve the lives of people affected by MND.
Getting involved
Over the coming months, we’ll be organising a range of activities and fundraising opportunities, giving colleagues across Enact plenty of ways to get involved.
Whether it’s taking part in an event, helping to raise funds, spreading awareness or supporting colleagues in their fundraising efforts, every contribution can help make a difference.
We’ll be sharing details of our first activities very soon, including an event planned for September, so keep an eye out for further updates and opportunities to take part.
We’re proud to be supporting the MND Association and look forward to seeing colleagues across Enact come together over the year ahead, in memory of John, and in support of everyone whose lives are affected by MND.
