We are committed to reducing the impact our business has on the environment. As a part of this we are excited to announce that we have started working with Ecologi.
Going forwards, for every completed sale or purchase completion, we will fund the planting of a tree through Ecologi’s reforestation projects.
Who are Ecologi?
Ecologi is a climate action platform that helps businesses measure and reduce their carbon footprint through initiatives such as tree planting, carbon removal and habitat restoration.
They partner with trusted organisations around the world to deliver reforestation and climate projects that benefit both the environment and local communities.
How It works
Each month we calculate the total number of property sales and purchases that have completed and then we pay for the equivalent number of trees via Ecologi. These are then planted at carefully selected sites around the world as part of verified reforestation projects.
Planting trees helps remove carbon from the atmosphere, restore natural habitats and protect the planet for future generations.

Future plans
As well as planting trees we have other ESG activities going on behind the scenes aimed at reducing our carbon foot print and making our company better for the environment and community.
For example, we continually look at ways to reduce the amount of paper we use by making more of our processes digitally led. This has the knock on effect of reducing the number of consumables, such as ink cartridges, that we use helping to lessen the amount of rubbish being thrown away.
We are also planning initiatives which will allow us to encourage more members of our team to commute to the office using greener transport.
On top of our environmental incentives we also have a number of ongoing charity events and sponsorships running throughout the year. This year as a company we have chosen to support St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds and Dove House Hospice in Hull.
